Cupcake Wars 2017

Cupcake Wars for Girl Scout Juniors -- November 19th

This is a competition between Junior Troops. The Scouts were taught a few decorating techniques and then decorated their pre-cooked cupcakes. As with other Cupcake competitions, the girls' entries were based on a number of factors:

This was a first-time event dreamed up by the Junior GAB girls (Girl Advisory Board) and was well-attended by dozens of enthusiastic girls.


The Blue Ribbon winning group was Troop 679


Community Awards Presentation

Nine Girl Scouts representing Girl Scouts of the Colonial Coast presented a Community Award to the Ocean Park Volunteer Rescue Squad at their monthly business meeting on November 13th, 2017. They were recognized for their support of Girl Scouts and Service Unit 250 - Lynnhaven Shores.
